There once was an old man, his name was Peter Klone.
One Day, Peter found a red fork in the middle of his dinning room floor.
He heard stories about this fork, it would come to those who follow proper rules at the table and grant a wish to the owner of the house.
The old man rejoiced and held a great feast to celebrate this most happy occasion.
He invited all his woodland friends: Lue the pelican, Sonny the aardvark with his lovely wife Matilda, a badger, as well as many others. They all came to share in the spectacle of Peter’s wish.
Well, the moment finally came for the big ceremony; Peter took his fork to the family altar and raised the red utensil as high as he could. Then he began to utter the words, “I wish for….”.
Just then Dominic the otter belched and did not excuse himself.
Before Peter could get another word spoken the fork vanished and not a wish was had.
Peter was so flabbergasted he began to weep.
The rest of the gang killed Dominic and ate him for dinner.
Peter then decreed that anyone misbehaving will be eaten, and from that day on, no one acted up again at Peter’s hole.
